Axure Tutorial: Common Widgets - Snapshot

Introduction

This article is a part of course Axure Full Course: Tutorial, Tips and Templates.

Snapshot is mainly used to reference other pages and components. Unlike the inline frame widget, it cannot reference external pages, and the size of the referenced content will change with the size of the snapshot widget(Default).

Reference Page

Reference to a page

Double-click the snapshot widget, select Page in the pop-up window, and then select the page to be referenced, you can reference the page to the snapshot.

Reference to a component

At the snapshot widget, select component in the pop-up window, and then select the component to be referenced, you can reference the component to the snapshot.

 

Stying Snapshot 

Set Scale

You can fit the content in the snapshot to the widget size, or adjust its size to the original size or a custom size.

Apply Actions

Snapshot can act on the content(thumbnail) of snapshot by default. Click Applied Actions button and add actions.
