Axure Tutorial: Prototype Player

Introduction

This article is a section of course Axure Full Course: Tutorial, Tips and Templates.

When you publish a prototype, a web page with a prototype player will open where you can change how the prototype is displayed, such as adaptive views, notes, and troubleshoot interaction issues.

Pages Pane

Click the button in the upper left corner of the player to hide/show the page pane, or expand/collapse the page pane.

 

Adaptive Views

If you have set Adaptive Views to the page, you can click to switch between different views. The default is Adaptive, which automatically changes the views according to the window size.

 

Scale 

In the upper right corner of the player, you can adjust the scale.

 

Notes

Click the Notes button to view Page Notes and Widget Notes.

Console 

Click the console button to open the console panel, where you can view the all global variables. You can trace interactions to troubleshoot interactions to fix bug.

 

 

More Settings 

Click the More button in the upper right corner of player to set whether to display Hotspots or note marks.

 

Comments in Axure Cloud 

If you upload the project to Axure Cloud, you can click the button in the upper right corner to view your and others' comments.
