Axure Tutorial: Common Widgets - Droplist
Introduction
This article is a part of course Axure Full Course: Tutorial, Tips and Templates.
Droplist is used to select one option among multiple options, often used in forms and dynamic panel state change.
Add Options
Double-click the droplist to edit the options in the pop-up window. Click the +Add button to add a new option, and click the Edit Many button to edit multiple buttons at a time.
Select Default Selected Option
Click the checkbox before the option to select the option that is selected by default.
Selection Changed Event
Droplist-specific event, fired when selection are changed. Often used to change the state of dynamic panels when options change.
Other Interaction Properties
Submit Button
If the submit button is specified, when the droplist gets focus, pressing the Enter key will trigger the interaction set by the Submit button. This is often used for form submissions.
